Welcome to YourBIGWIG

BIGWIG has created this website in order to facilitate communication between BIGWIG members, potential members and interested parties. We hope to use this site to enable BIGWIG to be more efficient and effective in the work we do, allow for virtual participation, and solicit feedback and commentary on our activities. BIGWIG is different than most Interest Groups; we do stuff, and the stuff we do needs to be done better. This site is a first attempt at that goal.
 
We also hope that people will feel free to post things that they would like to see BIGWIG do. More podcasting at conference? Topics for the Social Software Showcase?
 
The site is a work in progress. We are still getting things installed and configured so forgive our virtual "dust". If you have a suggestion about potential Drupal modules you'd like to see installed. Leave a comment.

We are running this site in a very open fashion to enhance participation and transparency. This means many people can edit pages or create posts. Please be respectful adults.
