BIGWIG Social Software Showcase

What is the BIGWIG Showcase (formerly known as the BIGWIG Social Software Showcase)?

It's like an unconference.... but different, and better!  The showcase focuses on new and emerging technologies and topics relevant to libraries - in other words, anything cool, interesting, or promising for the library world. Presenters and topics are chosen by the community, and then discussions are held in small groups at the Annual Conference.  The presentations are posted on this site prior to the conference, leaving showcase time for discussions on the various topics.

You don't have to be a LITA or BIGWIG member to vote on topics/presenters, attend the showcase, or to even present yourself.  We're an open group!

When is next one?

It will take place at the American Library Association Annual Conference in Washington DC, Monday, June 28, 2010 from 10:30am to Noon.  Voting is now closed. Presenters and topics can be found on the 2010 Showcase page.
